How much does it cost? When you submit your completed book file to us you
will be charged a set-up fee of £40. This nominal charge is to cover
the costs of setting up your title ready for printing.
Distribution option If you would like the book to be made available to
bookshops and appear on amazon the set-up fee will be £60. The additional
cost is to cover one year's digital registration, the agreement, a book
deposit with the British Library and ISBN. Any sales through these channels
will attract a 20% royalty although you should note that is less than the
profit you recieve if you sell the books directly to customers.
Income from book sales Once the title has been published you will then be
able to purchase copies of the book at the prices detailed in the table
below. Prices vary depending on the number of pages in your book. We can
print books with as few as 48 pages but the average is around 100 - 150
pages. Whilst we are happy to print larger books your costs rise accordingly
and you will need to bear in mind how much you think family and friends
will happily pay for a book.
Clearly you can set whatever selling price you think
is reasonable for these books. The higher the price the more money you can
make for your funds, however you may find that you sell more copies if you
keep the price lower - it's up to you. All we ask is that your minimum order
at any one time is 10 books or more. We will charge a handling fee of £4
per order + a carriage cost of 20p per book to cover delivery.
Orders of 200+ copies at any one time are supplied
at 10% discount.
